MA Seal of Biliteracy Award

What is the Seal of Biliteracy? The Seal of Biliteracy is an award given by a school or district in recognition of students who have studied and attained proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing in two or more languages by high school graduation. The Seal of Biliteracy recognizes high school graduates who speak, listen, read and write proficiently in another language in addition to English with a seal on the diploma. Six years ago, ARPS started offering this official State Seal to bilingual graduating seniors as well as Biliteracy Pathway Awards to students in grades 6 and 8. This award is available to all students who are working towards bilingualism and biliteracy in English and any other language: English Language Learners, Heritage Language Speakers and World Language Learners. Use the registration form below to enroll by Thursday, October 31, 2024. Contact Mme Cissé at cisseo@arps.org for any questions. Merci! https://forms.gle/sxW3rXVs5iTAk3L46
