Dear ,

I want to let you know that tonight's Poetry Slam Open Mic is postponed. It's now on Friday, December 13 at 5 PM! You are warmly invited to attend and invite youth to this event, designed especially for high school poets, grades 9-12!

This is a fantastic chance for students to learn how to share their voice, opinions, values, and advocacy through spoken-word poetry. They'll also connect with other young poets, and fine-tune their work in a supportive space. There is also a workshop feel to the event, so it's the perfect opportunity to learn how to perform your poetry for an audience if you're not sure, and more about the Academy Regional Youth Poetry Slam.

Event Details:

📅 Date: Friday, December 13, 2024, 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm

📍 Location: Boutelle-Day Poetry Center, Smith College, Northampton, MA

🎟️ Admission: FREE with sign-up!!

🍪 Perks: Snacks provided!

Please forward this to anyone you feel may be interested and invite students to sign up. All students are welcome to invite friends, family, or peers from their clubs to cheer them on and refreshments are provided!

For more info, check out our event page: Poetry Slam Open Mic at the Boutelle-Day Poetry Center.

Let me know if I can help in any way. Don't hesitate to reach out with any questions!

Looking forward to hearing from you! Hope you can make it!
