"Love to write? Amherst College's Lit Mag staff runs a virtual 2 week intensive on the craft of fiction from July 21-August 1. The Common Young Writers Program welcomes passionate high school writers to apply. Aid and full scholarships available! Applications open until May 18. See link!"
On April 8th, select students will have a chance to travel to the State House and advocate for changes in Public School Funding! This field trip is open to any student who is willing to spend extra time learning about public ed. funding. See Ms. Seltzer in room 163 or email seltzerd@arps.org to learn more.

"We are so excited to announce the first Queer Science- Five Colleges event on April 26th at the Cole Science Center at Hampshire College! We offer hands-on demonstrations and mentorship from LGTBQ+ scientists to high school students interested in STEM.
Free, lunch is provided - Not ARHS sponsored"
The deadline for the Day of Civic Awareness & Action permission slip has been extended until Friday, March 21st at 4pm. We are asking ALL families to fill out the Permission Slip whether your student is planning on attending or not. Here is the link for the Permission Slip, paper copies are available in the main office. If we don't receive a Permission Slip for your student by Friday, March 21st they will be put on the not attending list and will stay at school.
Please be aware we will NOT be taking emails or phone calls on Monday, March 24th giving students permission to attend Day of Civic Awareness & Action.
