Attention seniors! Have you considered a career in advanced manufacturing?! Are you still trying to figure out what career path you might want to take after high school? Come to an information session next Wednesday, April 12 from 12:15-1:15 in the Futures Center to learn more.  Get ready for your future in a growing and high-demand industry with manufacturing training at GCC! Complete the Pathways to Advanced Manufacturing training to gain immediate employment in roles including production worker, assembly technician, or shipping and receiving clerk, or to pursue a career as a precision machinist, which can pay up to $75,000 annually. Regardless of your goal, you’ll receive hands-on support with job placement—nearly 100% of GCC’s manufacturing graduates get job offers within six months of completing their training! Full scholarships are available for all participants—so you won’t pay to get trained!

Juniors and Seniors interested in learning more about working in the trades, please join us for a field trip on Tuesday, May 2nd, 2023 for Construction Career Day at the Franklin County Fairgrounds. Come meet professionals from fields like construction, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, landscaping, painting, and more! Employers will also be showcasing opportunities for internships and entry-level jobs. Permission slips can be picked up in the guidance office from Ms. Garrity and also returned to her. Please return them by Friday, April 14.
