In preparation for Picture Day on Tuesday, October 24th, 2023, please be aware that you may not wear hats, other hair-covering items, masks, or anything covering your face. Also, you may not have props in your ID pictures. Also, we will be making announcements during that day when you have to come to take a picture.

Seniors:

If you haven't ordered your cap and gown. Please bring payment ($21) with your height and weight to Ms. Rodriguez at the main office as soon as possible. Please be aware that after October cap and gown costs will go up $5 and the new payment will be $26 in November.

Winter sports registration is now open! Please use the link below to view more information and to register. In addition, to learn more about sports join us during our sports night on 11/16/23 at 6PM in the high school gymnasium. The first date of the winter season is Monday, November 27, 2023.

There will be a pre-season Alpine Ski team meeting for returning skiers and anyone interested in joining this year. The meeting will be after school on Monday, October 23 in Room 114.

ARPS will be offering the official State Seal of Biliteracy to graduating seniors in the spring of 2024, as well as Biliteracy Pathway Awards to students in grades 6 and 8. The Massachusetts Seal of Biliteracy is awarded by the state Department of Education and local school districts to recognize students who attain proficiency in English (listening, speaking, reading, and writing), as well as one or more additional languages learned in school or another setting, as measured by standardized language assessments. This recognition will be included with the student’s high school transcripts and diplomas and serves to certify the attainment of a student’s biliteracy for employers and universities.

The Music Production Club will be having its first meeting on Tuesday, October 24th during Flex Block! Come to learn more about what the club is about and discuss a field trip to Northfire Recording Studio. Reach out to Ben Feeney (feeney@arps.org) if you are interested but cannot attend.
