Friday December 22nd, 2023 French/Francophone Night! Get tickets now for our 7th ARHS French/Francophone Night scheduled on Wednesday, January 10th from 6:00-8:00pm in the ARHS cafeteria! Come enjoy a night of exciting cultural experience and delicious Francophone cuisine presented by the ARHS French students and the French Club. The menu consists of a sumptuous Francophone student-led potluck and a Moroccan meal catered by Amanouz Café . Friday December 15th, 2023 Did you know the colors of the French flag have a meaning? The French flag was adopted during the French Revolution in 1789 and emerged as a symbol of revolutionary ideals. Its tricolor design of blue, white, and red replaced the elaborate coat of arms of the old monarchy. Blue and red, the traditional colors of Paris, were combined with white, the color of the Bourbon monarchy to become a visual embodiment of the revolutionary principles of Liberty, Equality, and Fraternity. Come see the tricolor at the French Culture Night on Wednesday, January 10 2024 from 6-8 pm in the ARHS cafeteria!
