·         If you are a student-athlete who plans to participate in college athletics next year, please send Victoria Dawson an email with what school you are attending next year, along with your major and an action photo of you playing that sport. dawsonv@arps.org


 You are invited to attend the Sene-Gambian Scholars presentation on their trip to Senegal and The Gambia tomorrow, Tuesday, May 21 @ 7 pm in the ARHS Cafeteria.

 

·         Francis E. Hart Committee - Seniors. If you received a message from Ms. Melendez regarding sitting on the Francis E. Hart scholarship. If you were nominated to sit on this committee, by The ARHS Awards Committee, please let us know if you can serve on the committed Monday morning.

 

·         Juniors - Taking the SAT? Stop by the library for Flex Period on Wednesday to get in some review for June 1st! Led by a senior - Renan Solak of the CAPS Program (College Application Peer Support Program). Sign up for your MyFlex Account TODAY!!

 

·         Track and Field came out and competed this weekend in the Western MA meet!

 

Moriah won the 200 & 800-meter races, Elizabeth won the 400 hurdles and the girls' relay and qualified for Nationals in 4x1, 4x2, and 4x4, Logan won the Shot and Discus, and Moniha came in second in the discus.

Boys 4x8 took 3rd place and Ololara took 4th in 200-meter race.

Yairelis was seventh in both shot and discus.  Elizabeth was eighth in the pole vault.  Will came in seventh in the two-mile. Kora was seventh in the 200-meter race.  Calvin came in fourth in the mile.  Ella came in fifth in the 400-meter.  Miguel came in third in the 800-meter race. 

4 X 100 relay team:  Kora, Ella, Ruby, Ololara

4 X 400 relay team:  Ella, Elizabeth, Ruby, Ololara

 Thur sday, March 14 The grade 7-12 choir concert is taking place TONIGHT at 7 pm in the ARHS auditorium! Come out to hear all choirs--Hurricane Singers, Chorale, and Concert Choir--along with singers from ARMS. Admission is free. Hope to see you there!
