Darden Pitts is offering a Fall High School Ultimate starting September 17th through Amherst Recreation! You can sign up on the Amherst Recreation website at this link. Look for "HS Ultimate - 142305: For all genders in grades 9-12. This program will provide a fun and competitive venue for high school students to play Ultimate. Play two games per week with skills and drills sessions on Tuesdays and games on Fridays. With Coach Darden Pitts, ARMS Field /Kiwannis. 4:00pm-6:00pm Dates: 9/17-10/25, $89.00/$99.00, Age 14-18.
There was a meeting held last week to discuss the criteria and expectations of the upcoming school council elections. Paperwork is due by September 26. The election will be held on Monday, September 30. Students who missed the meeting can pick up forms from Ms. Malcolm in the athletic office.
Dear Staff, please consider contributing to the Amherst Survival Center Hygiene Drive. A collection box is in the Staff Mailroom. Most needed items include shampoo, conditioner, soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes & deodorant. Thanks!
Hello Juniors and Seniors! These are the college visits for the week of Sept 12-20. If you are planning to attend, you must sign up through your SCOIR account. You get 3 in school college visits allowed per year excused. Please sign up! If you need help signing up please come see Ms. Melendez in the Counselor Suite (Guidance Office)
In preparation for Picture Day on Tuesday, please be aware that you may not wear hats or anything on your head or face that may change your regular appearance.
