Monday October 7th,2024 I want to congratulate Rymas Aladmawy, Cameron Baird, Jonah Eggemeier, Felicity Goeckel, Indigo Halasz, Spencer McDonald, Bonifacio Mendoza, Alden Pope, & Josephine Rasche, for being recognized by the National Merit Scholarship Program for their outstanding performance on the PSAT's last October. Friday October 4th , 2024 Women in Engineering Flex Period: Are you a female-identifying student interested in engineering? If so, you should attend the Women in Engineering Flex Period next Tuesday to learn about an exciting field trip to UMASS Women in Engineering and Computing Day on Monday, October 28th. If you can't make the meeting but are interested in the field trip, please see Mr. Woodruff in room 225 as soon as possible. We have 20 slots, and they are filling up fast! Please be sure to charge and bring your school-issued Chromebook with you to the Mandatory Session. If you have already signed up for a Mandatory Session, thank you. If you have not signed up (through Flex), the sessions begin next week. Seating is limited. The SSC’s main focus will be working on the School Improvement Plan (SIP), and ways to increase student and family engagement at ARHS. We will be meeting once a month for an hour, the day and time will be determined after the SSC is formed. Our SSC will have between 12-18 members. Ideally, there will be 4-6 representatives from three categories: school personnel, students, and parents/guardians of currently enrolled students. Please contact Mr. Sadiq directly if you are interested in being on the School Site Council. Depending on how many students are interested in joining the SSC, there may need to be an election.
